Welcome to Ave Maria College

Watch now: Who is Ave?

Tanya Hutton - Principal

Discover our facilities that are designed to provide a positive, conducive and contemporary learning environment, and enhance the experience of being a student at Ave Maria College. These include our heritage building, our award winning Mary Centre and newly opened Helene Province.

The young women who attend Ave Maria College are provided with rich and authentic opportunities to learn; discover their own unique gifts and talents; and to develop as a young person so they are ready to contribute to the community and the world.

Tanya Hutton - Principal

My hope for the College is that every student feels that they belong and know that they are a valued member of our Ave family. Through acceptance of self and others, each person can contribute to making our College the best place to thrive and learn in.

Ms Leonie Rushbrook, Assistant Principal (Students and Engagement)

Ave Maria College cultivated an environment for me to comfortably grow into my love for art and design. It was also where I formed friendships that are still greatly important to me today.

Ashley Simonetto, Designer and Business Owner (Class of 2012)

I love the inclusive environment at Ave. This inclusivity is seen in actionIthrough the Peer Support Program. As a Year 11 Peer Support Leader, I assist Year 7 students to experience a comforting and warm welcome to the college, as well as providing them with a 'big sister' to confide in and talk to for advice on transitioning to high school.

Sophie, Year 11

Alumnae Testimonial

Danielle Price, Alumnae - Class of 1995

What make Ave Maria special is the warmth that you feel when you walk through the front gate. This is the place that I really became myself, really grey up.
