Fireworks 2018

Incinerator Gallery celebrates the accomplishments of high achieving art and design students in VCE who live, work or attend school in Moonee Valley. Fireworks 2018 provides many young artists their first opportunity to exhibit in a professional gallery and share their work with the greater community. The exhibition features the work of Katja Heard (Class of 2017) and current Year 12 student, Bridget McAllister. It is a great achievement for both Bridget and Katja to be shortlisted and recognised for their exceptional artworks.

VCE Season of Excellence 

The VCE Season of Excellence showcases outstanding work from VCE students across Victoria in the areas of Art; Media; Studio Arts; Visual Communication Design; Product Design and Technology,and Food Technology. It is a series of exhibitions that recognise student's creative flair and outstanding achievement in these subjects, and it is always a mark of honour for any school to have its students acknowledged by being shortlisted from hundreds of submissions.

Sabine Schiavone

A very special congratulations to Sabine Schiavone whose intimate paper collage series portrayed personal interior and exterior snapshots of a moment in time. Her ten compositions have been selected to be exhibited in the 2017 VCE Top Arts. This is an outstanding achievement.

You can view Sabine's work at the 2018 Top Arts Exhibition showing at The Ian Potter Centre: NGV Australia from March 23 to July 15 2018.

Year 12 Arts Student Selected for Flemington Billboard

Congratulations to Abbey Williams (12D) for her digital photographic images being selected for display as billboard artwork in the Flemington area. Her photographs, which form her Year 12 Studio Arts folio, will be displayed on the north side of the building adjacent to the Flemington Community Centre from July/ August 2017 and will remain there for approximately 18 months. A prominent feature of the space, the size of the installed images will be approximately 2m x 4m.
