Introducing Ms Elaine Dugdale-Walker as our new Assistant Principal (Community and Partnerships)

What a privilege it is to have become a member of the Ave Maria Community in 2024. Part of my role is to maintain and enhance how we work together as a community and to build on partnerships. Both aspects of this role have a clear focus on providing opportunities and experiences for students to flourish. We all know it takes a Village to raise a child. Family engagement can only work when the partnership is collaborative and through the lens of respectful two-way communication, where listening and learning from each other is prioritised. I look forward to working with the community in many ways in the coming year.

Ave Belong

Ave Belong is the name of the Ave Maria College alumnae network. This is also the name of our alumnae registry, and our biannual publication. We invite all former students and staff to register on the Ave Belong Platform to stay connected to the College. By registering on Ave Belong you can nominate ways in which you might like to be involved in college life, such as being profiled in our Ave Belong Alumnae series on our social media platforms, participating in alumnae panels during careers week activities, being a guest speaker for a specific subject, contributing to our biannual Ave Belong magazine. Our current students are always extremely interested to know the stories and journeys of former Ave students, so please consider signing up and getting involved. • Sign up to the Ave Belong platform here: https://avebelong.org

Back to Ave Day- Sunday 17 March

The College is excited to host our annual Back to Ave Day on Sunday, 17 March 2024 from 11:00am-1:00pm. This alumnae event is for students who graduated 10 years ago (2014) as well as the years ending in ‘4’ – 2004, 1994, 1984, 1974 and 1964. It is an enjoyable day to catch up with former classmates, as well as to enjoy tours around the College grounds. It has changed quite a bit over the years so why not contact your high school friends and organise to come along. You can RSVP here: Back to Ave Day RSVP.
