Year 11 Wellbeing Day– “Flourish Girl” Identity, relationships and leadership

On the 12 March, our year 11 students participated in their Wellbeing Day. Students were fortunate to engage with facilitators from The Flourish Journey, who delivered a three touch point journey through a one day transformational program. The Flourish Journey's workshops aim to foster a generation of empowered resilient and connected young people who can go on to shape a future where they and everyone around them can flourish.

Highly trained facilitators delivered a safe and engaging workshop that cultivate a sense of belonging empowerment so that our students feel that they have the tools to deal with any of the challenges that they face during their adolescent journey. Moving away from the daily grind of the classroom, Wellbeing days offer the opportunity to stop and reflect on how are tracking. The facilitators act as role models who are relatable and authentic in their story telling.

The day was broken into three sessions, the first part of the sessions created opportunity for connection, second part designed to help young people to engage and connect through the topic of roles models and lastly time was provided to unpack what leadership skills individuals possess.

Below is a report on how the students viewed their day.
