Who are we?
Ave Maria College has been providing Catholic secondary education for young women for since 1963. The College was founded by the Franciscan Missionaries of Mary (FMMs) to provide an education for the young women of the Essendon area.

What curriculum is offered?
The College offers a broad core curriculum at Years 7 to 9 Year 10 students construct a program from a combination of core subjects, electives and a Victorian Certificate of Education (VCE) subject and a Vocational Education and Training (VET)
What is the enrolment process for entry at Year 7?
Applications can be made to the College at anytime. The most appropriate time to apply is when your daughter is in Grade 5. Applications close on Friday, 23 August 2019 for entry in Year 7 in 2021.

Ave Maria College is located conveniently close to bus, train and tram.
How does transition work?
We take care to ensure that transition from primary school to secondary school is as smooth as possible. We are very aware how daunting, yet exciting the move to secondary school can be.
