Ave Maria College is an active participant in the mission of the Catholic church to proclaim the Kingdom of God.
The College endeavours to live out the teachings and values of Jesus Christ. We are a community based on love, justice, compassion and integrity.
Students are invited to strengthen their personal relationship with God through prayer and celebration of the Eucharist.
The study of Religious Education is compulsory from Year 7 to Year 12. Students study the beliefs, rituals, teachings and history of the Catholic Church.
At Year Level Reflection Days students are encouraged to examine their spiritual identity. Students have the opportunity to reflect on how their relationships with others contribute to building the Kingdom of God.
Membership of the Faith and Social Justice Committee is open to all students. They are encouraged to participate in social justice initiatives including the St Vincent de Paul group, Edmund Rice Refugee Tutoring, fundraising, letter writing campaigns, awareness raising activities and hands on projects.
