2023 Excellence Scholarships
Excellence Scholarships in 2023 are now available to support and enhance excellence in learning.
The College recognises that education is both a right for our young women and a shared enterprise between family and school. In all our endeavours we seek to inspire and celebrate excellence as an expression of God’s good gifts among us.
The 2023 Excellence Scholarships are available to eligible applicants for entry at Year 7, Year 9 and Year 11 (subject to academic testing, application and interview).
The scholarships are open to new students to the College as well as to existing Ave Maria College students.

How to Apply
Students wishing to apply for a Year 7, Year 9 or Year 11 2023 Excellence Scholarship can apply online.

Applications opened 9.00am on Friday 24 June 2022.
Applications closed at 5.00 pm on Monday 8 August 2022. Applications after this date will attract a late fee.
In addition to the online application, the following supporting documentation must be uploaded Monday 8 August 2022.
- A copy of the student’s most recent school report
- A copy of the student’s last NAPLAN results
- Copies of any awards for academic achievements
- Details of the Student’s co-curricular activities at school or in the community (volunteer work, leadership positions held etc)
All applicants will be required to sit an online examination on Saturday 27 August 2022.
Selection
2023 Excellence Scholarships are awarded on the academic performance of the student in the scholarship examination, to be held on Saturday 27 August 2022.
Applicants are also assessed on their submitted supporting documentation and online application responses.
Short listed candidates will be interviewed by the Principal.
Scholarships are awarded for the duration of the student’s secondary education and are subject to an annual review of excellence performance.

Duration of Scholarships
Excellence Scholarships allow for remission of up to full tuition fees throughout a student’s secondary education and are subject to continued excellence, progress and review.
All scholarships are subject to annual review and the College reserves the right to withdraw any scholarship in the event of unsatisfactory academic progress and/or participation in College life.
