Mr Dane Calleja

My role at Ave Maria College is to work collaboratively with staff to ensure learning success for every student. This involves ensuring the educational aims of our College are met, in line with our Strategic Planning process and our Annual Action Plan. My priority is to lead the implementation and ongoing review of the College Learning Charter, driving excellence in learning and teaching at every year level. I am firmly committed to Catholic girls’ education and developing the skills and knowledge in our students to maximise their learning opportunities. I bring to Ave Maria College my expertise in leading learning, enhancing pedagogical practice and innovation in education. 

I am passionate about empowering young women to achieve a love of learning to become independent and adaptable learners for the 21^st century. Our collective mission is to inspire our students to be critical thinkers and risk takers in extending their skills to adapt to an ever-changing world and to become responsible leaders of the future.
