As Director of Learning and Pathways at Ave Maria College, I’ll be working collaboratively with all staff to ensure that our curriculum and learning programs continue to be contemporary, cater to the needs of our students, and enable them to be positive contributors in their communities. I’ll also be working with staff and parents/carers to ensure that our girls are being supported and challenged to help them achieve their full potential. As part of the Careers and Pathways team, we will be ensuring that our career preparation programs and opportunities adequately prepare our girls to be successful members of the workforce, both now and in the future.
I am a student-centred educator, with a passion for enhancing student outcomes, developing 21st century skillsets, and celebrating growth and success. Throughout my journey in Catholic education, I have developed expertise in collaborative curriculum development, educational technologies and the use of data to inform teaching and learning practices.
Over the next two years, my priorities will lie in the ongoing review of our curriculum offerings, leading the shift towards continuous reporting and supporting our students’ academic endeavours, in collaboration with staff and parents/guardians.
