Mrs Natalie Meddis
My role at Ave Maria College is to work with the Student Wellbeing Team to support the provision of wellbeing services and programs for all students in the College. This means ensuring that all programs and wellbeing interventions provided to support our students reflect best practice and contemporary approaches. I will work with the team to continue to develop the Mentor Program, as well as working to provide opportunities for students to better understand how to regulate and manage themselves at each stage of their time at Ave Maria. I look forward to providing opportunities for families and staff to also develop a stronger understanding about adolescent growth and development so that we can all better support each student’s academic, spiritual and personal journey.
My areas of passion and expertise are maximising girls’ opportunities, increasing each student’s understanding of her own self and teaching history. My drive is to ensure that school is a safe place where relationships are formed, risks are taken, challenges are met and barriers are broken down so that each individual is able to thrive and become the best version of herself.
