Year 7 2023 Orientation Day

On Wednesday, 7 December 2022 we warmly welcomed our Year 7 2023 students for their Orientation Day. It was great to see so many friendly faces as the students got familiar with the College!

Throughout the day, students heard from Principal Ms Tanya Hutton, Year 7 Sub-School Leader and Transition Leader Mrs Joanne Thompson and other members of Senior Leadership about life at Ave Maria College, transitioning from primary school and all they have to look forward to in their first year with us in 2023.

Students also got involved in a variety of science, food technology, drama and art activities as they mingled with their peers, student leaders and teachers.

A big thank you to the staff and Year 11 Peer Support Leaders who assisted our new students throughout the day!

Orientation Day 2023 was a great success, and we look forward to welcoming the new Year 7 students formally in the new year.
