Learning and Wellbeing Overview

Curriculum Snapshot

The Ave Maria College Learning and Teaching Program is underpinned by the College Charter for Education. This promotes a landscape where programs and pathways are designed and operate in accordance with best practice research as well as the College mission, vision and values.

The learning pathways, programs and partnerships on offer aim to maximise student engagement and growth, providing the landscape for each individual to break pre-existing boundaries and further their discovery of self.

Learning pathways are tailor made to suit the needs and interests of each individual. With a focus on purposeful teaching and engaging learning, the curriculum and programs in operation build within students the necessary knowledge, skills and understanding that they require to be leaders of the future within their chosen field.

The Curriculum Snapshot provides an overview of the pathways and programs in operation.

Ave Maria College Charter for Education

The Ave Maria College Learning and Teaching Program is underpinned by our Curriculum and Learning Policy which fosters our belief that God is ‘the source of all good.’ Thus, the Ave Maria College community encourages our young women to develop the goodness in themselves and to share their God-given gifts, in living the Gospel values. This policy also “guides each young woman to develop as a whole person, striving for excellence in all her endeavours.”
