On July 18th 2023, Ave Maria College proudly announced a new partnership with Liverpool Football Club International Academy (LFC IA).

As part of our commitment to provide pathways for every student to grow and thrive, this partnership will see us become LFC’s first All Girls academy in Victoria and allow our athletes access to high performance training programs to develop their skills.

We see our new partnership with LFC IA Australia to be an invaluable part of our mission to provide pathways for every student to grow and thrive. We are honoured to be leading this new era of women’s soccer in Australia and hope that it will allow our athletes to achieve their full potential, and most importantly, support their development as confident young women ready to make a positive contribution to their community.

In Australia, LFC International Academy is a partnership project between the world-famous football club and the Australian College of Physical Education (ACPE), Australia’s leading independent higher education provider for specialist degrees in Sport, Education, Health, Sport Business and Dance.

The vision for the new high-performance soccer program at our college will see our combined resources used to create an environment that mirrors the one experienced by players on a high-performance pathway in the UK.

This means not only a high quality and authentic LFC football program developing players technically, tactically and physically but also input into social and mental development, career pathways and life skills such as communication, teamwork and leadership.

As part of the partnership, we will also be hosting a range of LFC community training and holiday programs which will be available to wider Moonee Valley community.
